Design & Engineering

Lavergne Performance Compounds designs, develops, engineers, and manufactures high value resins such as PET polyester, PBT polyester, Polycarbonate, ABS, HIPS, and Polyamide.  We work closely with our customers to develop innovative, cost-effective applications, and design solutions.  Although we can initiate a project with our customer at any stage, we believe the most effective design and engineering process involves the material supplier at the beginning of a project.  In this manner the plastics can be specified and utilized to their best advantage.

Lavergne Group works closely with its customers to design engineered thermoplastics that lower total system and product life cycle costs.  The Environmental Solutions Division combines chemistry and innovation with the principles of sustainability to help address our customers’ challenging end-of-life and waste stream problems.  We carefully analyze the customer’s production process and life cycle of their product.  Our creative staff works with them to design processes, equipment, and solutions to address the results of the analysis.  We assist the customer in developing the solutions they deem to be most effective for their sustainability and monetary goals.
